Francesco Alessandro De Felice





He studied at the Pesaro Conservatory “G.Rossini” with M° S. Amadori, W.Di Stefano and M.Vangi and he graduated with honours in 2005 at Cesena Conservatory “B.Maderna”. He attended specialization courses given by Toshi Hayashi during the CupraMusicaFestival, collaborating with its orchestra both as soloist and as First Cello. He participated to the Orchestra Education Course “Progetto Palcoscenico” in Pescara supported by the European Community and with its orchestra he carried on an intense activity as first cello. He collaborated with soloists such as Massimo Quarta, Enrico Dindo, Renato Bruson, Marco Zuccarini and L.Horvat and he pursued his studies with Luigi Piovano, obtaining the title of “Orchestra Member” in 2005.

He obtained the Diploma Accademico di Secondo Livello with full marks at the Campobasso Conservatory “L. Perosi” studying with M° Michele Chiapperino.

He carried on a concert activity for several associations and he obtained the 2nd prize at the 4th and 5th Chamber Music National Competition in Riccione. His studies as chamber music player were carried on under the guidance of the musicians of Quartetto Fonè, of “le Musiche” Quartet formed by members of Berliner Philarmoniker and of Andràs Keller, first violin of  Keller Quartet at the Festival of the Quartet in Reggio Emilia. As quartet member he carries on concert activity for several associations such as “I Teatri” Foundation in Reggio Emilia, “Centro Arte Vito Frazzi” in Florence and Teatro Municipal de Granada (Spain). Since 2006 he started collaborating with Pesaro Symphony Orchestra “G.Rossini”, becoming First Cello. With the OSR he could perform with soloists such as Felix Ayo, Josè Carreras, Carmine Lauri, Tim Hugg, Alain Menier, with conductors such as  Micheal Laus, Daniele Agiman and to collaborate with prestigious associations such as Ente Concerti in Pesaro, Rossini Opera Festival, Festival Lirico di Frosinone, Orchestra Filarmonica in Malta. He also collaborates with orchestras such as Orchestra Bruno Maderna, Orchestra della Repubblica di San Marino, Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia and Orchestra da Camera delle Marche.

He nurtures a special artistic interest in chamber music: since 2010 he is the cellist of TRIO DMITRIJ and from 2010 to 2012 he continued his preparation with the TRIO DI TRIESTE at the Scuola Superiore Internazionale di Musica da Camera del Trio di Trieste in Duino.

As cellist of Trio Dmitrij he performed in Italy and abroad and Trio Dmitrij's Live performances of Franz Liszt Complete Chamber Music was broadcast by italian radio RAI Radio3.

 Regularly gives Cello and Chamber Music Masterclasses at the Conservatorio Profesional de Musica "F.Guerrero" in Seville (Spain).
