Born in Pesaro in 1994, Gaia Paci graduated in violin with the highest marks at the Music Institute "G. Lettimi" in Rimini under the guidance of the teacher Maurizio Sciarretta.
She has been the winner of several national and international competitions: 6th National Competition for Young Musicians "Luigi Zanuccoli" at Sogliano al Rubicone (2nd prize), 9th International Music Competition "Città di Pesaro" (1st Prize), XII National Music Competition "Città di Riccione "(3rd prize), 21st National Competition for Young Musicians" Città di Camerino "(1st prize), 1st International Competition" Città di Cremona "(3rd prize), 10th International Music Competition “Young musicians”- Città di Treviso (2nd prize).
In May 2017, the Rimini Malatesta Lions Club awarded her the "Vitale and Eugenia Vitale prize 2017”.
In August 2017 she won the first prize at the New York Golden Classical Music Award Competition in New York and she performed at the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall.
In October 2017 she won the first prize at the Rome Grand Prize Virtuoso 2017 and she performed at the Teatro Studio Parco della Musica.
She has attended numerous masterclasses and has been working with Italian and foreign masters including Maurizio Sciarretta, Cristiano Rossi, Marianna Vasilyeva, Oleksandr Semchuk, Pavel Vernikov, Stefan Milenkovich. She attended baroque violin courses with Alessandro Ciccolini and chamber music classes with Massimiliano Damerini, Jane Booth, Luciano Giuliani and Enrico Bronzi.
She played as soloist and chamber musician at various music shows, performing at the Massari Theater in San Giovanni in Marignano within the "Minifestival Cameristico", at the Piccolomini Palace in Pienza within the "Opera Pienza" and at the Teatro Novelli of Rimini for the season "Rimini Classica".
In September 2017 she has performed in quintet with Masters Leonid Gorokhov, Oleksandr Semchuk and Andriy Viytovych within the Strings Concert Academy, playing works by Shostakovich and Boccherini at the Titano Theater and Villa Manzoni of the Republic of San Marino.
Since 2014 she has been a member of the Pesaro orchestra "Filarmonica Gioachino Rossini" (orchestra FGR) with which she participated in the recording of a CD for Decca with the tenor Juan Diego Florez and the engraving of the integral of the ouvertures by Gioachino Rossini, in a critical edition by the Fondazione Rossini di Pesaro, for the DR record company.
Along with the FGR Orchestra she played for the Rossini Opera Festival of the years 2014,2015,2016 and 2017 and in March of 2016 she played at the Royal Albert Hall in London in concert with the tenor Juan Diego Florez.
She also collaborates with the Orchestra Sinfonica Rossini in Pesaro and the Italian Orchestra of '700.
She has been a violin teacher for four years at the St. Lucia Music School in San Giovanni in Marignano and she is a teacher of music education at Pesaro's Secondary School "La Nuova Scuola”.
